At the moment Im undecided on weather to buy an Xbox360, a PS3 or a Wii. However I have made up my mind oon which handheld im going to get, a DS Lite, which is roumoured to be released some time during june/july, just in time for my birthday at the end of august. Ive seen the graphics on the Xbox360, and they are simply stunning. PGR 3 looks fantastic. All I want right now is a High Def TV and the three next gen consoles. IBM’s First Hard drive – 1956
Time for a bit of nostalgia.WAY back in 1956, well before I was born, IBM were introducing the world to it's RAMAC, a 1200RPM 5MB hard-drive. That 5MB of data was stored on, count them, 50 disks! At 100KB per disk, I'm glad my 250GB external drive isn't that big. For more http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/worlds-first-hard-drive-1956
New Worm
If you use Yahoo Instant Messenger or any other IM program, be wary of links you click on. A new worm has started spreading via these IM programs, which changes your background, starts looping some aparently awful music in the background quite loudly, installs it "Safety Browser" ironic or what, changes your homepage, starts sending out the link to go and get yourself infected when your chatting and looking at someone's yahoo profile, and sends you to adverts sites which riddle your computer with all sorts of nasties. If I can get hold of a copy of this, i'll try it on a virtualised Windows Install and report back.
So, even if you are talking to your friends and they sned you a link, be extremely wary, for all you know, they could be infected, that link could get you infected too!

New Format For Reports
As of tonight, I have decided to try out posting each article as a separate post, rather than the current roundup format. This will allow ping and trace-backs to quote only that story and not all of that day's stories.
